Needed is a Property Consultant to join our growing team in
Hamilton and work on local and national  acquisition projects.   Be part of a tight-knit group of specialist property consultants and take advantage of all that WSP has to offer whilst enjoying quality, career enhancing work.

This role could suit a recent graduate (property, law or associated field) , an experienced legal secretary who has experience with property law, or a lawyer/legal executive with 1-3 years’ experience who is looking for a change of pace or wanting a more flexible approach to work.  

The opportunity:
  • Be part of an innovative team involved in high profile projects of national significance.
  • Be a key contributor to the acquisition and disposal of land on behalf of the Crown under the provisions of the Public Works Act.
  • Help provide property consultancy and advice to clients in the Crown, Government Agencies, Local Authority and corporate sectors.

You will have:
  • A tertiary qualification and 1 to 4 years of experience years of experience ideally
  • Good knowledge of relevant NZ standards, legislation and practises, and a general understanding of land law.
  • Confidence in dealing with a variety of professionals on a regular basis.
  • Be confident in your ability to present ideas, information and advice in a way that is understandable by a range of audiences.
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly experience drafting technical pieces of writing.
  • Most importantly you will have the ability to learn new skills quickly and be open to a wide variety of work.
