Needed is a Transportation Asset Technologist to join our successful Taupo team working from our Network Outcomes office. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high performing team that provides consultancy services to clients in respect to all types of Transportation Engineering (including Network database operation and management, Asset Management, and Contract Management. This is a great opportunity to work as a member of the Taupo team to achieve the goals and objectives set for the business.

The opportunity:
  • Operate and oversee Central Waikato NOC Asset Databases, including RAMM and JunoViewer.
  • Undertake investigations and inspections, and assist finding solutions to problems through applying appropriate analysis and design techniques. 
  • Preparation of clear reports, designs and drawings.
  • Assisting in the preparation of design briefs for projects including preliminary programming.
  • Undertaking commissions and documentation in accordance with the project brief.
  • Completing all administrative tasks associated with the assigned project including all reporting on job progress.
  • Promoting a high level of commitment, pro-activeness and communication within and across the Company organisational boundaries.

You will have:
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification.
  • Current clean Driver Licence.
  • Strong organisational ability to optimise and prioritise conflicting demands in a busy environment, to achieve deadlines and see responsibilities through to completion.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including oral and written communication and particularly the ability to present ideas, information and advice in a way that is understandable by a range of audiences.
  • Be computer literate; proficient in Windows 10, MS Word/Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
