You will be an active member of the Compliance Team and based in our Wellington office. The role is responsible for a wide range of building compliance consultant responsibilities and management of various contracts and projects.
 
The Role:
  • Manage national BWOF contract relationships to ensure a quality service is maintained
  • Manage projects as per the company management processes including the  Building Information Compliance System (BICS).
  • Provide auditing and maintenance of fire protection installations and premises for compliance with the NZ Building Act and other relevant legislation.
  • Providing professional advice to WSP and external clients on building compliance, facilities management, asset management and maintenance.
  • Support the development and implementation of targeted business development activities in the building compliance sector and the wider WSP Services.
 
Skills and Experience:
 
  • Relevant tertiary or professional industry qualification linked to specialist fields of activity is essential.
  • Wellington Regional Territorial Authority IQP registered for passive features.
  • Relevant qualification relating to Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.
  • Current clean Drivers Licence.
  • Minimum of five years’ Compliance and Fire Protection industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with Building Act, BWOF compliance requirements. CS 14 and CS 15 IQP certified 
  • Understanding of Building Act 2004.
  • Site Safe Passport Holder.
