The Role:
  • Delight our clients through the provision of professional consulting services. Maintain and develop your technical subject matter expert reputation.
  • Ensure your workgroup actively contributes to the success of the WRFRM business unit in meeting its business plan and growing the business.
  • Manage and develop a highly skilled group of engineers & scientists to deliver high performing WRFRM projects. Advocate for your team internally and externally.
  • Influence the strategic direction of the subsector and lead the development of future focussed capability.
  • Take responsibility for the local undertaking of the WRFRM business having and overview of client relationships and financial performance.
  • Support the Head of WRFRM and Market Leader to ensure the success of our business.
  • Work collaboratively with other parts of the WRFRM business, the wider Water Sector and other sectors. Actively maintain internal relationships across these functions.

Skills and Experience:
  • Experience managing large teams.
  • Minimum of 10 years professional experience as a civil professional.
  • A tertiary qualification in civil engineering with specialisation in hydraulics or an equivalent qualification in related subject
  • Registration as a Chartered Professional Engineer in New Zealand, or equivalent
