WSP is looking for someone to provide operational leadership to the Environmental Advisory & Ecology Work Group within the Environment & Heritage team, creating a high performing and engaged team.

You will be based in either Auckland or Hamilton and some travel will be required between the offices.

The Role:
 
  • Work with the Head of Environment & Heritage to establish, implement, and deliver on growth and capability plans, and achieve exceptional outcomes for our clients and our stakeholders.
  • Drive project performance and technical excellence in your discipline.
  • Contribute to the commercial success of our business in meeting its strategic objectives by participating in business development, strategic planning and client engagement.
  • Nurture, encourage and develop a high-performance team culture, both within the group and wider WSP.

Skills and Experience:
 
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor or Masters in Engineering or Science). ·
  • Professional membership of a related professional body within New Zealand, or equivalent with a recognised overseas body. ·
  • Current Drivers Licence.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in environmental services.
  • Knowledge of the New Zealand market and an established professional network.
